Cannot use "view new posts"

I have an issue with view new posts and view unread posts not working. Says I'm not authorized. Any idea why??

AL had to shut off the search function for now. I don't know the status of it being turned back on and he is out on a business trip. He will be back in a week.

Kind of a hassle. I have the site saved in my favorites so that when I open it it goes right to new posts. With the search function off I that does not work.

I am sure he will fix it soon. Problem was with a spammer manipulating the service. Don't know the details, but it was something to do with that.
