Ten days ago was the 1/4th Scale race of the VHRC Challenge at Saint Affrique (south of France) with a big news: a demonstration of Yankee 1/4th Formula 1! The first time that Yankee F1 run for more 10 years!
to sum-up their specification:
L= 1.16m
w= 0.56m
h=0.3m
Weight in order to run: between 13 and 14kg
Current used engines: Zenoah G230 or G260RC with Samba III

The VHRC challenge is taking more and more success each year with more different cars and drivers.
Currently one of the issue is to find tires for cars, but no more for a long time:
Laurent has find a subcontractor who accept to manufacture a new batch of SLD tires. He try to set a new softer elastomer to get more grip...
So big 1/4th scale with F1 1/5th tires will be over soon: a great news, because really ugly
