I know I can make slicks so here's my first try at a vintage tire with some tread design. As it goes. This is not a finished product but.........wanted to share another quest of mine for the perfect tire.... This will be a project in progress for a while. Lol. I'm a slow burner. Tons of improvement needed on these but...... I see the light at the end of the tunnel. As for the inserts. They are progressing as well. I have a few designs in the making. Every time the insert changes a new mold is required. About 18 hours in all for that and around 35 bucks in material... these will look almost as good as the CNC Machined ones at a fraction of the price. And you could actually run them with out worrying about smashing them. Thanx for looking. And. HAPPY EASTER.

Thanx Jay. It's been about 4 years of off and on messing with these tires and rim inserts. Finally coming together.

Ok. Here's the comparison. So. I can make the other 2 tires for the mammoth rear LRU rims. Mount them on my Raco Indy car and shelf queen those things. The inserts on my rims are runners.

If I sent the inserts out for chroming I guess they would look as good. But I like the contrast as of right now. Thanx for looking.

These are what I'm working on now. Old Chevy rims

More rims for my tires. I'm gonna be busy for a while. Just made a set of front tires. There in the pic. Those are all the rims I have that don't have any dents or dinks and the bolt holes are pretty much UN-molested.
