For me, it kicks off fantastically, as in 8 days I will be back in your wonderful country to watch 5 nights of midget car racing, indoors on dirt, at the Chili Bowl in Tulsa Ok. Been a life long dream. Over 300 cars entered....that number alone blows my mind.

I've been dreaming about getting to the Chili Bowl for 25 years. Biggest dirt track midget show in the world. And it's indoors. Whew! Tickets are very, very hard to get, however this year we managed to secure some, via a friend who also wanted to attend. He Jeff Griffith, was one of the guys that I first met, when I got into 1/4 scale sprinters back in the mid 1990's.
Sadly he suffered a stroke mid year and cannot attend, so I'm off to Tulsa with Jason, his son. We're taking as much video as we can, to bring back and show him. Not the same as being there, but he wants us to do that!
I'm so sad for my good mate Jeff.
