It's a beautifully constructed model.

The chassis is a modified Yankee. To this body it is important that the front suspension is very flat. The body is also very flat in the rear. The Yankee chassis is chain driven so the engine is near to the center of the car. I will post some pictures without body if someone is interested.

Very interested in seeing anything fabricated or modified, excellent choice of chassis from Yankee, your creation looks fantastic!

Also would love to see how you converted the non-Yankee rims to the Yankee hubs.

There once was a part you could buy to mount RACO or PMT tires to Yankee. They came with some old Yankees I bought many years ago. It is not so easy to built them by yourself. I have CAD files if it helps.

Absolutely superb 1/4 scale! I hope one day these hub adapters become available. Again, a very superb build 8)

I was thinking about the cad files for the hub adapters,I think someone with a 3D printer could make these? They could be strong enough for a runner but in most cases great for a static display. How anyway I can get the Cad file that would be great! I'll also see if Laurent from Yankee could chime in.

I put different tire hubs on grabcad for a free download. The STL-Files are printable but I realy think the parts are not strong enough. You should also know that threads are not printable.
What about Laurent? Did he know the parts an does he have some?

I sent Laurent an email and some photos, hopefully he'll get back to me and chime in on this thread. Fingers crossed :)
