Gilmer Midgets
Thought you guys might like to see my Gilmers. All credit to Jan, he built em. Wheels and tires on the Offy are BRP; wheels on the Kawasaki are Delara. Knockoffs are by Ed Berube and Skellenger (I kept the original wheels and tires too).

Awesome car
Re: Gilmer Midgets
Bobby where's the pull start on the Kawasaki or is that a push and go?

Re: Gilmer Midgets
Emilio, it's a direct drive push start - like a full size midget
Re: Gilmer Midgets
That's what I thought, my first Gilmer had the Kawasaki T20 with pull start and that too was a push and go. I thought it was insane to have a car of this caliber without a clutch, but I would imagine that you just let off the throttle or hit the brake and it stalls out?

Re: Gilmer Midgets
This one has a toggle switch for the ignition, you can see it on the right side. You'd have to catch it on the pit lane and turn it off! I suppose you could rig a kill wire like a tether car. If I were running it I think I would rig a kill switch so I could turn it off with the transmitter. I got this one from Jan, never run. You'd want a track; none around here now, and I got involved in other things.
