With this setting, you must ensure that the glow plugs are off while charging the batteries. So it's best to mark the switch with "ignition" and "charge" and you use a switch which allows only charging or ignition.

Michael: Your wonderful model is almost finished. Will you make a video of it when you start the engine?

Kaye: I've never seen anyone post a video here. Maybe I can put it on Youtube, but please give me some time... yesterday I bought the starter battery. Making a small step every day...

Hi Michael: I've also never seen a video posted on Quarter Scale Legends. I was thinking about a YouTube video, if and when you have the time to make one, you could post a link here on Quarter Scale Legends for 'all of us old folks' to enjoyrc garage berlin wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2022, 3:15 am Kaye: I've never seen anyone post a video here. Re: Another funny car project...
I think now is the time to start the engine for the first time. Today I ordered 1 liter of coolant "Ready-to-use" for aluminum engines. Rolf Luther wrote that this is important. Let's see if the entire system is tight.
Luther also wrote that you have to use methanol with 8% oil. In Germany it is no longer allowed to ship methanol, so one way is to order it in France, but it would be better to find a store in Berlin that sells methanol... not many people run these engines today.

Today I filled the system with coolant. Everything is tight and the pump runs well.

This is one of the best, if not the best 1/4 scale rc car I've ever seen!
