Raco Indycar restoration

Hey folks, I picked up this raco indycar a few months ago along with the BBS upgrade kit from John Foster and the wheels and rubber from an ebay purchase, also purchased an aluminum plate that must have been a template that raco used to trace out the ABS bottom plastic, shown in the photo, picked this up from Mike Casey.

The indycar is in very good condition for a car that has been ran, and with no bang ups.
I tore down the car and test fitted the upgrade kit which looks and fits fantastic imho. The body is also in great shape with an excellent paint job with auto body paint but does not fit any of the indycars from 1988 era but more of a disco street car, I'm going to do the Miller high life theme Gold and off white.

I will begin cleaning and polish the chassis with all new hardware from Mcmaster carr and will continue to update as I go along. So for the folks who enjoy any kind of projects and photos, have fun and thanks for looking :D

Does anyone have a photo of the rear caliper bracket that mounts it to the rear of the indycar :?

Okay never mind, looking through my archive of photos, I found a photo of Mike.C indycar, looks like I need to do drilling, tapping and filing the rear caliper flat at the tapping points to mount to the existing Raco bracket, the threads on my rear caliper are on the sides and not the bottom. Can't complain these were all that quarter Motor had left :( I'll show the procedure when I get a chance.

Hey folks, I'm looking for the fuel tank that's used on the raco indycar, it seems Raco made the bracket to fit this tank, but I can't find one? anyone know where to find this tank, I'm looking on ebay at the DU-Bro tanks but none have the shape for the bracket? It seems Raco had 2 kinds of bracets but the same tanks, I have the backet in the second photo. Any help would be great.

Kaye looks like that's the company! but they only seem to have 8oz tanks which I think falls shy of the Raco tank. amaya can you post a photo and possibly sell me one?

Thanks amaya, I found the Hayes tank Kaye listed, they only show 8oz but they have a diagram that shows 12 and 16 oz which is what I think the Raco uses. I'm waiting for them to get back on the 12 and 16oz.
