Mike I highly recommend this movie/documentary to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Ferrari: "Race to immortality" unbelievable and unimaginable stuff that happened during this era. I saw this this on the Starz network.

Re: 1/4 Jeron Ferrari Testa Rosa survivor
Now this truly brings back some great memories. I was involved with Ron Phillips and his sons Patrick and Keith on the V-12 and assorted cars. I made the wax injection molds for the investment cast V-12 parts and did a production run of 25 sets of parts. Also made the radiators amongst other bits and pieces. I have often wondered where they all ended up and how Ron made out after the so unfortunate end of Jeron/Phillips Motor Works. I was a bit of a photographer around then and spent many many hours in the "factory" at Ron's home engineering out various technical issues and snapping pics of various things. Probably should dig them out for a walk down memory lane. I would love to know the story of where all the bits and pieces went....

It would be wonderful to see any of those old pictures you can find. You have some important model car history there, and I'm sure you have stories you could tell too.

Re: 1/4 Jeron Ferrari Testa Rosa survivor
Welcome to the site. Really glad you found us!!!
When they went BK, all the parts and models sold to a model collector that later published the book Spindizzies. He took what he wanted out of the lot and sold the remaining parts and cars to a gentleman in Denver. The estate of the author went up for sale with Banhams about ten years ago and most of the models went to a collector in Texas. Over the years parts have been spread out around the world. Ron is still alive, but not doing so well. I do have contact with him, so if you have interest, I may be able to get you in touch again. Thanks again!!! and please find those pics!!!!!
