Hey folks while I'm on the fuel tank I'll end it with this other time cutter solution, got this roll of velcro, you cut it at any length and use it as a wrap. Fits right into the yankee grove perfect and secures the tank to the chassis in conjunction with the side clamps very nicely. Well off to the body and stripes. Hope you enjoy :)

Works great Kaye, I wont be running the car and if I do there will be the minimalist fuel in the tank. I've purchased a few cars off ebay in the past where nothing but Velcro held tanks and most electronics with no problem?

Been having the crappiest weather, storms and high humidity, need a few good days with neither to continue with the rest of the body :(

I can't wait to jump on this project soon, got what I think is the absolute proper fuel door for this car, and it fits perfect in the quarter panel.

Love got mine off a person on Facebook, he had a bunch of Jeron odds and ends. If I come across him on ebay I'll ask.

Emilio,
Does that cast wheel have an outer raised lip. looks like the rear half does. I may be interested in it if you decide to sell.
