Hi Lovedr,
Thanks for the input. I’m going to assume that you’ll need five 3” wide wheels.

Hi All,
Just a reminder for those that would like to pre-order some wheels from the new run of RICK'S R/C Wheels. This will not be a binding order from you, just a preliminary overview of who wants what so that I can place the correct order as regards style of wheel and wheel widths. If you don't let me know soon, you may miss out on your new wheels from RICK'S R/C.
I look forward to hearing back from anyone still interested.
Please email me at ricksrc@hotmail.com with your requests.
Thanks, Rick

Confirmed orders set the final prices which I haven't seen yet. It should be a binding contract unless you fail to complete purchase delivery. You have to get confirmed orders to manufacture the product. Interested orders don't add to anything.

AnytimeRC, great to hear from you. Thanks for the advice. Right now I’m just trying to get a rough idea of styles, sizes and quantity so that I can get a firm price to everyone. I don’t expect anyone to do a binding order without knowing prices first.
Thank you for your input my friend.
Kind Regards, Rick

Interest is NOt going to set a good price. Low quantity is going to set a high price and less demand.

Hello I see in previous posts that Rick required a minimum of 50-100 wheels which I think that quota was met ,well going by the posts at least.
We just have to express interest on here or via email, and just wait for Rick to finalise price..
I see you won't commit without seeing a Price that's fair enough ,but have you expressed interest either here or via email? As they say the more the merrier.
And will help price wise I would think..

Hey Big block,
I have expressed interest but 50-100 sets ( a production pre run) is chicken feed to get the price down to below what they originally cost. Times have changed inflation has set in and labor and cost of materials have gone up too. This isn't going to happen any time soon I expect a couple months if not more. Word alone is not going to set the price. Until I see a price and a web site to order I will sit back and wait.

Usually those that sit back and wait, miss out because they did not support the original effort. Then 10yrs later they complain prices are too high for the now "rare" items.

Rick, I would be in for a set of 4" x 3" of the Nascar style wheels and oddly a set of all 2" wide Drag style for a special project.

Rick:

Sorry to say you'll need to take me off the wheel list. The reason is I've just blown my hobby budget for the next little while on a mint Saab convertible, which I certainly don't need, but I just fancied for the occasional summer drive. By coincidence, it was the Saab's black 18 inch wheel rims that caught my eye.
