I’ve been working on this project for a while. Fully functional (radio: bluetooth speaker, ignition switch, glove box, etc) in a lot of ways. Planning on posting more about it as the cars progress.

Emilio,

It is one in a collection of highly detailed, quarter scale C2 radio controlled models. The cars have taken a little over 5 years to build. That was after the 5 years it took to get the owner of the body to agree to sell it to me. I will be posting pics documenting this particular model's build soon. The models were constructed in sets consisting of a chassis, hand laid fiberglass body and mated floor pan (each body's thickness is a little different hence each floor pan must be trimmed to match). Each car has over 300 bolts and screws, 200 plus custom milled parts, 180 printed parts, two wiring harnesses, 100 plus off the shelf parts and a good bit of 3M automotive epoxy. They sport both Conley (327 or 427) and cloned Conley 327 engines.

The functionality includes:

Dash ignition/starter
IRS and Straight Axle
Knock off Turbines and Crager wheels
Hydraulic brakes
Lighted rear license plate
Parking lights
Flip bucket headlights
Rear brake lights
Articulating wipers
Flip gas cap lid
Hood release latch
Lighted dash
Functional glove box
Functional ash tray (not cool now but very much in vogue in the sixties)
Bluetooth speaker "radio"
Articulating steering wheel
Functional driver and passenger door latches
Functional interior dome light (activated by the opening and closing of the doors)
Articulating driver and passenger seats

Functional Dash Knobs Activate:
Radiator fan
Front headlights
Front and rear parking lights

... the detail pieces vary from plastic, carbon fiber, resin to aluminum & steel. Any material is possible with any part because of 3D printing. It’s pretty amazing.

Wow just wow. Will the exhaust actually pass through the cross members? Absoluty scale looking chassis and body, congrats on this one of kind.

Thanks Emilio.

I'll be adding content on a weekly basis. I've built up quite a few pics and videos to share over the last few years of working on the cars.

This is the most phenomenal quarter scale car ever made! AWESOME! The attention to detail is second to NONE.

I want one. As a full sized Corvette enthusiast and owner - I HAVE to have one of these. PM me with the details, but no matter what, put my name on one of these.
