That's looking extremely nice, not a speck of dirt on it, the Edelbrock sticker is a perfect finishing touch.

So I abandoned the gasser idea.. it was getting far too clumsy, heavy, bulky and lacking detail of a realistic model or even an rc car for that matter.
Feeling defeated I kicked around building a pro street style car with massive rear tires but it’s still not what I want... for now it’s going in the rafters till I find some motivation.

Oh no :( I'm sure you'll get your motivation back after a few 'long thinks' about the project. It might take weeks, months, or a couple of years. Whatever you do, hang on to that body because they're not making any more of them, as far as I know.

Front fender well openings are horribly out of scale so that will need some work. Widened the front suspension 2”. Lengthened frame 3”... going to need a ton of work but moving a lot faster than the original gasser idea.

Fast forward to today I got bored, grabbed some parts and built a rolling grand national chassis, grabbed the body and started chopping it up.... yeah I like where this is going... not sure if anyone will ever see this ... .
