steve g: The disc and caliper, did you make them yourself?
Re: Next project.... wingless asphalt sprint
I have a machinist that makes all the parts.... all by hand mill and lathe.. very talented

steve g:
You're quite fortunate in having a machinist to make these small parts.

I test fitted a wing... I might put a wing on it... haha
Re: Next project.... wingless asphalt sprint
Probably the worst frame I could have started with, wrecked, bent, dented, modified and hacked till it was finally stripped of its parts. One thing for sure it gave someone lots of fun at one time. I did the best I could with it.
It’s not perfect but it has character.

Character is extremely important, and more importantly, you saved the frame!

10th scale crawler helm joints, machinist made radius Rods and torsion arms, modified Delara steering knuckle parts mixed with homemade parts, unknown narrowed front axle, some knockoff hubs, rc10 shocks with some adapters I found in a box and a ton of sanding and hand polishing.

Looks very clean. Can you tell me the width of the hood?
Thanks

I narrowed the hood a lot to make it fit this car... not sure what it was originally.oldschoolmidget wrote: ↑November 7th, 2021, 11:59 pm Looks very clean. Can you tell me the width of the hood?
