Any idea what this is all about? WCM?

This was an eBay sale... I’m not all that familiar with WCM grand nationals but I wanted a full cage car.
I assume it’s an early model because of the chain drive (missing chain so now I need more chain #25 thanks guys!) but what’s with all the plastic stuff? Was this a WCM thing or did someone get creative?
And assistance will be appreciated.

Those are the pieces everyone else lost. LOL
I have a similar one with most of the parts you have on yours. I believe I have wheel wells too.
I don't know if it was optional or what, but I've seen a few models with them.

I have not seen this before so I bought it under the assumption it was not factory... but I’m finding the early production of cars from WCM, Delara , Alves etc had some hit and miss differences that set them apart from the majority of the production
