fiberglass Raco indy car body
Fitted a LRU fiberglass Indy car body today to a car that I am sending to a friend tomorrow. Came out nice and clean. Thought I would throw out a few pics in case someone was thinking of getting one for there car.

but its a pitty that all those bodies are available for USA only as shipping outside seems to cost about half a grand .... (actually i paid less for shipping a complete funny car in a wood cradle) ... but thats just the way it is ;(

Re: fiberglass Raco indy car body
Vectrex, this body probably could be shipped for about $60 or so. The problem with some of the bodies is they are way too big. Like the ford truck body you asked about. Its huge and usps will not take it so that only leaves ups or fedex. Its wierd because I have purchased 1/4 scale cars from europe and only paid $80 for shipping and it comes in USPS but USPS will not ship something that big out of the country.

I just checked DHL. To ship the truck body to you would cost $747!?!? Truck body ships in a box that is 50" x 20" x 20" let me know if you find something cheap.

Re: fiberglass Raco indy car body
Yeah, it's the overall size, not the weight.
Might be better for some of you International guys to have the body chopped into two (or three) pieces, and re-glass it back together when it gets there.
If I were buying a Pickup truck, I'd not mind if the cab and bed were separated.
