Mike,
Love your work! How about some super mods one time? They're on my wish list.

Cool Vid! Thanks for taking the time to make them.
Other titles should include...
"1/4 Scale through out History"....
"Why I have no Garage space"
and My personal favorite.
"Jay Lenno? Now this is a collection!"

Thanks guys! we are going to try and crank out a couple more this weekend!!
I felt a little goofy doing it, but I suspect the more I do, the more comfortable I will get. We had to do a LOT of them over and over again just to get them this bad!

This is a whole new level for QSL!!!
Great work, Mike!
One video I'd like to see: the ENTIRE QSL collection. Just set up a table, set them on the table one by one and give us a nice slow pan down the length of the car... body on, them body off.
Action videos too? I know you have a few tapes...

Love it!
About 200% better than the first one!
The Picture-in picture ... all the detail close-up scenes voiced-over, the nice slow pan down the car... the better lighting.. the music track sneaking up underneath the voice-over at the end.... all GREAT technique!
I'm sure the credit goes to the hot-shot producer... Alyssa, take a bow!

Re: New Quarterscale Legends videos
thanks for the great feedback you guys. I hope they get better and better.
The funny thing about the delara one is that it really was not meant to be published. We were just goofing off to see what we could do. we only planned on spending a couple minutes with it "testing". Well, after 3 hrs we had that video. It was so much fun we could not stop. Great times with my daughter!!!
Thanks for being patient with the quality and my poor dialog! I cant memorize a thing, so I have to do it on the fly as you can probably tell!
Do you guys think that I am going too basic on the descriptions? I was trying to make it geared toward new commers. Should I keep doing it this way or start making them with the assumption that the viewer knows what they are looking at?

Re: New Quarterscale Legends videos
In my opinion...
Right now, you're "narrowcasting" (as opposed to broadcasting). The people who are waiting to see these videos are your pre-qualified faithful viewers, already immersed in Q-scale and seeking even MORE arcane details, like "these bolts were from Steve's bolt store in Santa Ana, then they changed to aluminum ones from Dzus in 1989"... Seems like trivia to outsiders, but this is the minutiae we LOVE to see.
However, a more "public-oriented" video overview of your collection, mainly focused on the different styles of cars (body on) and with minimal details beyond size, body style and manufacture WOULD be a good thing for attracting newcomers from other sites via YouTube as an introduction to Quarter Scale... Heck, it might even uncover a few old cars. That would be "broadcasting" to a wider audience, so it would be useful to have, too. A few action scenes at the beginning and end would grab more casual viewers' attention.
But these are really good... and excellent documentation of these cars, too!

Re: New Quarterscale Legends videos
Thanks mike, I do want to add some action shots as well. I am trying to see what I can do about that.
I was trying to find a balance between basic and slightly more advanced discussion on the cars. I see a value in doing it both ways. The great thing about these videos is that I can make as many as I like, so as topics surface, we can go ahead and make one to accommodate.
anther idea is "introduction into 1/4 scale" Not to cover one specific car, but just to give an overview of exaclty what 1/4 scale is. That would free up other videos so I would not need to include size, speed, etc and instead focus on historical values?

That's a good idea... "Introduction to Quarter-Scale"... and you'd briefly show shots of each "type" of car made, trying to cast a big net to catch viewer's interest, no matter what kind of vehicle they prefer.
That would be the "outreach" video.... and would drive interested viewers over to QSL.
