Street GTP Version 1.0
This has been a work in progress for a VERY long time. Finally the molds have been completed and a body should be home this weekend. This is going to be a very special car, along with the daytona I am building. The orange one is the plug used. I threw some JSF wheels under it to check them out...

Re: Street GTP Version 1.0
Well, the plan for now is to just use these on complete cars. The wheelbase is 27" and the front is so low, I dont think there is a chassis available that would work.

Re: Street GTP Version 1.0
Decided to cut off the front so it looks more like the full size car and this will help with the chassis re-inforcement since ultimately the center body section will be fastened to the chassis.
The chassis is at its very infancy stages. But this gives you an idea of what is to come. I am trying to replicate the full size car while being able to still make it RC.

Re: Street GTP Version 1.0
i did not like the one piece front so i re did it all. It took 5 tries but i have what i want now. Its multi piece and it will all be bolted together so it looks like the full size car. there will be a cover over the brake resevoir as well...

Latest shot, been working on the front end. This may need an Aurora engine in it. I mocked up one in the back and the fit would be perfect.

Re: Street GTP Version 1.0
As stated in the engine discussion, they do not include the coils for the $4500 price. but the ignition is quite cheap. Our order included the ignition modules as well as a provision done to the fly wheel for a clutch. A custom trans will be made to mount the engine to the rear and house the starter.

Re: Street GTP Version 1.0
todays progress, just really cleaned things up a bit for better fitment. Also threw in a conley in the back to just get a feel for the aurora when it gets here. The aurora is 2" longer and about 1.5" wider!!! Ohhh yea!
