One-third Scale Stratocaster

If you have an RC that is not 1/4 Scale you can still post here for full range discussion on all types.

One-third Scale Stratocaster

This is one of my favorite collectables... it's a 1/3 scale Fender Stratocaster modeled after Stevie Ray Vaughns' personal well-worn guitar. Was a gift from Dale Epp.

Serious talent!!!! Very impressive!

There's a theme starting here... somehow the same guys who build guitars can also build quarter-scale RC cars. If I still have the pics, you should see the guitars that John Foster (Quarter Mortar) built.

If your woodworking skills are good enough to build a solid-body guitar. you could probably also build a master "pattern" for a quarter-scale car body shell if you wanted to.

Many have attempted (including me), few have followed through to completion, though.

We have guitars, we just didn't build them ourselves. Now if only someone could teach us to play them. Hee, hee.

I actually really like the violin.

Do you mean a wood plug to make a fiberglass or lexan body. I've been wanting to make a 69 Charger Daytona for years now. I was going to use polystyrene.I'am still thinkiing about it.
