the boat is big and 12 years ago my hobby was f1 tunnelhuls
with K&b outboard.
because holland is a small country with less water and a governement, which allows the dutch drivers, nowhere to run these vehicles.
this little country wants to save the ozon off the whole world.
i don't think i will ever run this beast, have it just for fun.
i like old stuff,
i drive a bmw 732i off 1980,a bmw 520i bj 1982.
got a very old house, and a jung wife, and two little kids.
my son is now 6 and drives sinds he was four a yankee f1 benneton.
i have a girl who is six and helps me sanding, polisching, cleaning the alloy parst.
than she likes to put th parts together as a car.
so not all the building is done by me but my daugther of seven does this the most
my other cellction is a carrera servo track scale 1/32,and the track is long 55 meters and all the cars made that time i did collect the last years

Ahhh i see... hey there isn't noting wrong with old stuff frank... as a matter a fact the old stuff is built much better than any of the new stuff now days... take your home for an example.. looks to me your rafters are made from hard wood... i could be wrong... depending on where abouts you live in the country this will vary... the majority of all new homes are constructed from pine... again,, this depends on the location... now back in the old days,, let' say..1940s the majority of all homes was built from hard wood... The main reason was because it was readily available.. and nearly 99% termite resistant... now days homes made out of pine in a area with high termite colonies will be history within a matter of 20 or so years..

Same applies with your car... i own a autobody shop and can't tell how many newer cars I've repaired that just get a simple tap on the bumper leads to a major bill for the customer... I've seen 15 mph impacts get into some of the sub frames in these newer cars... heck back in the old days you could run a car into a curb going 25 mph and it wouldn't do squat to it.. mabie bust a bead or bend the rim but that was the extent of it... try doing that in a new car and see what happens... wait a minute... better not.. the air bag will deploy and knock you unconscious.. LOL

We too own older vehicles.. my wife drives a 2001 Toyota Tacoma.. my everyday truck is a 2000 chevy silveraod 2500.. my company truck is a 2007 GMC sierra,, our older home now my daughters was originally grandmothers and grandfathers i purchased from them in the late 80's was built in 1942.. and our new home.. well not so new.. but looks new was built in 1964.. my Wife's father built the home and chassity bought it from them in 1992 when they retired and moved to Florida.. The house has been remodeled quite a few times over the years... and it's going to get a major face lift this summer.. it's a brick home and I'm going to remove all the brick on the front of the house and install stone veneer. I'm also going to build a new 24'x24' garage out behind the house... I'm going to call it my little machine shop/1/4 scale shed... LOL

You should feel fortunate you children find interest in what you do frank.. neither of my girls want anything to do with any of my interest when it comes to cars or anything to do with machining.. but then again there 22 and 23 years old too..

i love your little track layout you have in your attic.. i used to have a fairly big layout when i was a kid as well.. but like everything else... moving from Missouri to live with my Dad. to moving back to California to live with my mother as a child.. all the stuff go misplaced somehow.. Do all them cars run or are the majority of them just for looks??

Either way.. NICE!!
