Seems alittle scam'ish to me, why only list 1 picture? his whole description is click-able links and they take you to a web sites photo gallery that shows tons of pics, most of the builds I have seen else where...Any thoughts?

It looks like the same car that turbineman posted a picture of. It even has the same driver in it.

There isn't an RC car on this planet that is worth 17500 unless we are talking about the farrari that the guy built from youtube. Daytona, cobra or whatever, anyone that pays that much for one of tthese cars is has a mental issue.. and its not about the money.

depends on what you value your time at. There are plenty of quarterscale cars that have sold for that or more. The 1/3 scale ferrari sold for a astronomical amount, but worth every single penny.

To build any of these cars takes a great deal of time and money. Personally, if i were to build anything like that or sell, i dont think i would be comfortable making 25 cents an hour, but i guess to some thats good? LOL...

The value is only determined by how bad someone wants the item in questioned.
some people are always destined to over pay for stuff and some people know who those people are, so its not a question of if they can sell that item but instead when does the guys that over pay for items gonna have the money to give for it.
Besides the motor and rear end how can anyone justify paying that type of money for this particular car...

I agree that this car in question is definatley on the high side. But the going rate for a MINT cobra with the 427 and blower is in the 15k range. He is not that far off. Its not over paying, its the price. Simple fact, if someone does not want to pay the PRICE, then the car simply does not get built. Someone would have a MENTAL issue if they wasted their time building these to just lose money...

Now is someone here wants to make these cars and sell them for $2500. I am in for ten of them. :)
