Greenwood C3 Corvette
My new project a greenwood C3 Corvette. First of all I have to check if the engine I already have, will fit this concept...This time I want to model the body myself and the doors and hood should be openable.

Re: Greenwood C3 Corvette
For me the size and position of the wheels is very important for the look of the car.

Re: Greenwood C3 Corvette
This is the engine I want to use for this project. It is a conley clone V8 from Australia. It is a very small engine and it will fit under the flat hood of a Corvette quarter scale car...
What is missing in this picture is the carburetor. If it is a little too high I can make the hood a little higher in the center area.

They are very rare on german roads. I loved them even as a child. I wonder if I could still get into a Corvette today?

I think this Skellenger rear would fit the project well and I got one.
But where do I get the axle between the Conley Clone engine and the Skellenger? Does anyone have any ideas? There must be a part to buy....

Re: Greenwood C3 Corvette
The motor
A V8 Conley Clone that I bought from Gary in Australia. Unfortunately it was missing a few parts and the clutch was stuck but that was easy to fix.
I built everything in 3D that was necessary to model the manifold for example.
I will also make the full scale air filter myself as you can see on the rendering. The ones you can buy are too small.
Of course I first removed the bright blue color from the starter and the golden color from the valve covers.
I also bought the right spark plug connectors and lowered the ignition distributor.

Interesting to see someone wirking on c3, i made the plug a few years ago, i modelled chassis and found the engine but did not take time to make the mold ,as it's a personal project

Re: Greenwood C3 Corvette
Thank you very much, my friends. Today I modeled the dashboard, floor and tires. It looks right, so I think I'm on the right track...
The tires are from Gary in Australia. Very nice quality.

Re: Greenwood C3 Corvette
Hi Lovedr,
I still have a lot of work to do before I can print the body. But when the 3D files are ready, it won't be a problem to print more. But it won't be cheap. I calculate with 2500-3000 dollars only for the print without finish, painting and stickers. My own Printer is too small and I don't want to assemble it from 50 pieces.
