So you drove the first sprint car that Edelbrock eventually saw and got him interested in making sprint cars with Gary? Thats awesome!
Yea, when I spoke to him too thats what he wanted for the whole lot of stuff. He sent a CD with a lot of pictures. Lots of goodies there for a collector. I just was not sure if it was a good investment for a business.

Lovedr, He had a bunch of stuff in the lot. I dont have the pics here at work but from what I remember there were about 5-6 complete cars with skellenger rears. Some were super mods, sprint and GN. They were all Delara and none were Edelbrock/Delara. He had 6-8 misc sprint and GN frames. About 30 kawasaki engines new in the box. One conley engine. 3 QC machined aluminum style rears. One tube bending machine, one engine dyno. Boxes and boxes of parts to build the GN cars but not everything to build them. Blue prints for the Delara sprint and GN. Sprint car body molds, 1/5 scale car, Boat.... I cant seem to remember anymore. I did list everything I saw in the pictures at one time to price it all out to get an idea of what it was worth to me, but only came up with about 15k or so. Keep in mind that I did not go and see the stuff in person, just from what I saw in the pictures.
Yea, I own the one and only QRS daytona, it is an amazing car. I even got a set of the blue prints of the original full scale daytona that pete brock built with it.

The daytona will never be produced. It was a prototype and he worked with pete brock on the scaling. A japaneese magazine even came out and did a story on it. Jeff spent countless hours and money on it just to find out that the market for a 4k plus car was not there. The project got scraped. The molds are still alive but no other bodies will ever be produced. It is a very difficult body to make because it has wheelwells and it wraps around the chassis.
I cant say what I paid, but it was not cheap, but cheap to me
From what i heard all the delara stuff is gone. He did not want to split up any of it. Just one large lot.
