Mmmm, let's see:

1. Two V8's made by Conley ... one for a Daytona Coupe and one for a MiniMax sprint car
2. A Raco Indy car
3. A CNC mill
4. More time so that I can finish all of my projects :)

I'll leave some extra room by the tree.

The Mike's made my cry this Christmas. I don't have any pictures yet and I'm hoping QSL will post one for me (my computer doesn't like the memory card in the camera). Mike Ogle painted an Indy body. Not only does it have my name on it, but it is the Z-line paint scheme which is my absolute most favorite Indy Car. I opened the box and instantly started crying. Stupid crying gene. The helmet is even purple with flames and has my name on it. I can't thank the Mikes enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Really? You'd do that for me? What a great bunch of guys on this site. You rock!

I know it is an old, old, old model, but I don't know the year. QSL does. I'll have to ask him. Maybe if I beg and plead and find a way to get him a Conley Cobra, he'll make me a body mold for the Merc. :D

well, not too much 1/4 scale stuff for christmas, but I did score this Tig welder. I am just about done building the cart. We also got these killer airsoft guns that are all metal and look like the real deal. Lots of fun on the side yard!!

Welders and guns, does it get any rightwinger, manlier then that!!!

What I actually wound up getting was:

1. Asus G51-J laptop (quad core / very fast!)
2. Alibre Design Expert software

So in theory I'll be able to design my own parts for my model bike and car projects. Once I've become adept at this ..... I'll need to buy the cnc machines I've been promising myself for years.

My son's comment the other day .... "so after laying out thousands of dollars and many hours of your precious time ......you'll finally be able to make that $15 part"

kevin when you have got a cnc machine, you will need to learn a lot about cnc and machining materials
do not forget it is not a copying machine.
think before begin.
but the other way, wenn you spend 5 till 10 k for a stabil machine, and you made your first 15 dollar part, you will be very happy.
you will forget the spend you did, wenn you will be able to learn this very well
you can make anything you want.
even your own designed car, what more fun can you have.
all new and made by yourself.
happy new year from me and the family.
(ps christmas is over)

Hi Frank: I wish it was a copying machine, but sadly :( it is not. It will take quite some time for me to become competent, mainly due to shortage of time (life/career, etc.). I'll be relying on my mechanical engineering background and rusty/forgotten machine shop & toolroom experience :)

Mike, you're supposed to weld with these things? I was using mine as a gun rack.

-Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.
