a friend of mine shares great passion for this European small passenger car classic with me. He has both a 5B and a 5T Baja and started from scratch. These are made of fiberglass and windows are included. I got myself two of these.

Thanks for asking Muddy, could be better but am just glad it's not worse. Lot has happened and things seem to be a mess now in personal and professional life. Kept me from starting a new large scale build. Been mostly doing small stuff for my existing toys, big and small.

not sure theses wheels make this car look nice, but body is cool with it's wide sides!

The body is just on top of my Baja in the pic, not mounted in any way, just to give you an idea. I didn't mean to use those wheels or tires with this body.

Jari, where do we get these Escort body shells from?

You can get them through me. The builder doesn't speak English pretty much at all. There are two of you who have contacted me about buying these bodies and one already sent money through PayPal and Jani (the body builder) will send one body to this person.

Please Note:
The guy who is actually doing the laminating of these bodies is a super professional for repairing fiberglass boats and the working season for him is starting. Therefore if you are thinking of buying one of these bodies you need to hurry. There will be delivery delays in the near future.

Other thing:
In the future the bodies will not be offered with Lexan window inserts. You will need to do them yourself. I will discuss this with Jani to post instructions here on how to bend them and templates for that.

BTW QSL, are you ok with this that I'm offering the body here? I mainly wanted to share this with you gentlemen and have 3 of these for myself now. I'm a great fan of Mk1 Escort.
