I’ve been there a number of times, it’s frustrating isn’t it? You make the call and set a price. You think you have a deal with a standup person and you get excited about it only to have the deal go crashing away with no warring, not a word! They don’t even return your calls and man up to what they did.

This is just a bunch of people buying and trading toys. The up side is we all know what happens when someone get tired of their toys that take up a lot of space.

Just remember: Patience, it’s the journey not the destination, but you still wanted the dam car!. :x

S**T ! :x Well it happened again. I made a deal with and sent money to a guy in Las Vegas for two Raco cars. He just called and said that he sold the cars to someone else. Now just hope that he sends my money back.

These are the cars:

Funk, i remember bidding on that one. But i think he ended it early? nice car though.

David, I dont know what kinda deal this guy was offering, but they are just raco cars. I would not get too bummed. I have a JR i am going to unload that looks better to me then that.

The Raco GN was cool, it had the aluminum arms and the quick fill fitting. Things I have not had a chance to check out 8) . I recently picked up a New Era car. Well at least the parts for a New Era car. This is a cool car. I may have to start a movement of dumping my Racos and moving to this type of car. The problem is there’s very little to anodize on them.

Now that I’m on the subject of a New Era, you know what would make me feel better Mike? Buying a nice yellow New Era Corvette with a V8 and IRS. I would feel complete and be able to get rid of the Racos and move on to a higher level of our hobby. :) :D

I saw that add the other day and saw where he said sold shortly after you had P<'s him. Figured you had gotten the deal. I would have loved to buy those, but I am hesitant to buy something from someone with only a few posts on a site (like me:))..

Hopefully the deal was good.

I saw those just added as well. They look banged up, tempted to bid just for the gear box, but I bought some used Skellenger parts. If you are bidding Good luck!

On the GN. I haven't had one like that to work on yet. I think I have the parts to put it back together again. It's a great way to get rid of the parts I made.
