for just a few of them, i go with with a big piece of MDF wood and use 1" x 1" strips of wood that i cut and use a small nail gun to attach them to the mdf.

Hi,

Finally started my sprint car chassis build. I started with a download from the net from the website of a major US manufacturer. I then created a 1:4 scaled down CAD version.

I then transferred this onto a 19mm thick sheet of MDF. I'm using pine strip to hold the tubing.

I'm using 10mm OD hydraulic tube with a hand held Rothenberger tube bender.

I plan to braze the chassis.

I've never done anything like this before & I'm sure I'll come across some hurdles but I'm having fun none the less.

Progress should pick up with the arrival of daylight saving & the warmer weather.....

Cheers from New Zealand
