Hi, Has anyone repaired a Raco fuel tank successfully.I found a leak at the seam closest to the engine. It's about 2"long.It's a clean split. If you have what did you use to seal it.Thanks.

I took an old cheap radio shack soldering iron and hammered the tip flat. You can slowly slide it along the seam and it will melt everything closed. Clean the tank out first . A hot knife will also work. This has beaten any glue I have ever used and I have never seen one fail from a repair using this method. It gives a nice smooth repair. In most cases you cannot even tell it was repaired.

Rapid Fix.
Anyone else tried this product. I've found it to be quite amazing.
