Thanks Al, Lovedr I think they are pretty much the same size more or less, the body styles are different years and thats where the size comes in. The first photo is a 1988 indy car which Raco made and the second photo is a 1985 which Race tech copied, at least these are the closest comparison?, the 1985 where much larger in the nose area and had a larger hump over the engine area.

No doubt everyone has seen this photo but gives you an idea of the 3 Indycar. Raco, Race Tech and B&L. In this photo I love the 1st gen raco body over the second gen, it's night and day.

Hi mplumb thank you for noticing, I think you mean the white Indy roadster? This was a shell I purchased off ebay, I then altered the body somewhat and fabricated a chassis to fit this body to mimic the Watson Roadster, so much as to even have the QC rear shifted to the left along with the engine. Future plans are to have independent rear suspension, windshield bracket, hood scoop over the engine and side panels. Again thanks for noticing, it is one of my faves! :D But if you were talking about the Gilmer I'll post photos too.

I will miss it ! lol
Another user on this site had one up for sale a few years back and I missed having the money to purchase it by like a week or two

I am not an "indy guy" but this car is sweet ! I think it may be the tube chassis that sells me on it  I'm a sucker for tube chassis LOL

Thanks mplumb. lbird I also love tube chassis and it is why I kept this over the Raco Indy, I'm not a fan of the module chassis but it was still a great car and only Indy out there besides this one, so there's really no going wrong with either.

One thing I'm glad why I kept this Race Tech is I will need to copy the chassis for my six foot indy wind tunnel body, I have all the tubes in stock and soon as I'm able I will start on this project. I think it will be very easy to copy the Race Tech chassis, so far plans are to be chain driven. Thanks everyone :)
