It really doesn't matter what other member spoke for them. He posted all parts where spoken for before you said you would take them. Done is done.

Vcut670 "go jump" mature way to make a point!
Out of random curiosity what is the difference between a member posing on the open forum on Sept 7 that they would buy the hubs and my posting on the open forum on Sept 7 that everything was spoken for? Your post with a desire to buy the hubs was on Sept 8 a day after either type of post?
Where were you on Sept 6 and 7 up to the time of my post saying the parts were spoken for?

Forget it, from my years of experience on American Rc forums there is a rule written and stated by the Administration that any member interested in buying a item will type "I will take it" then all members know it's sold..All members then know who bought the item and who sold it incase of buyers not receiving item then we have a small paper trail to follow. There is to be no sales via Private Message. Emails If members want to sell items privately then don't post items on forum, it's a courtesy to all members no secret business..Perhaps Al could look into this idea.

Your last sentence sums it up. "..Perhaps Al could look into this idea." Which indicates to me your unwritten rule is just that, an unwritten and for that matter unknown rule.
As far as everyone knowing who bought what, why should they. Maybe there is a good reason somebody doesn't want the world to know what he bought. Trust me if I buy froom someone who stiffs me the board will know about that transaction in short order. I have sold several items to fellows in Australia and if I remember correctly one item was sold thru a PM after the item had been on the forum for quite awhile.
Since you want all the info on the forum should I list the shipping dates, tracking numbers etc so you will know exactly when the items arrive at their destinations?

Some people like to buy stuff thru the PM system because they don't want everyone to know there business. And they are tired of hearing poopie like this. So with that being said..... If I listed all the poopie I bought thru PMs you'd probably flip the fu$& out..... There no disclaimer on this website that says it has to be announced publicly when a sale happens. As for being curtesy .... Blah blah blah blah... You were a day late. I bet if we checked the website you were not even on the forum that day. What should we do. Wait for every freekinnnnn member to visit the site befor we sell something ..... Then count 1,2,3 go. Post you want to buy. Get over it. The man set good prices for us to be aggressive buyers. You snooze..... You lose.......

PS
It's been a while since I've acted like a jerk on this forum. Thanks for bringing that out . Not.
