Where to buy splined drive shafts?
Where to buy splined drive shafts?
Hi, I'm looking for a drive shaft, very similar to the RC4WD Punisher drive shafts found here on their website: http://rc4wdstore.com/2/product_info.ph ... 658fe56d45. I would just buy one from them and modify the ends to fit my project but do you guys think it will hold up driving a 50lb+ car? Does anyone know where I can get just the spline/sleeve drive shaft without the universal joints? In which case I was thinking of modifying a couple of universal impact drive adapters to make up the entire universal splined drive shaft. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have seen those Rc4wd shafts. I dont think they would work for our application. Those universals will definately break.
Using swivel sockets or tools as universals are OK, but just make sure the pins are not offset on the knuckle. It will make it wobble.
