My name is Lee Baker and I'm a new member. Here is my Corvette body that I made and just painted. I have to finish the pinstriping and add my wing to the car. I also have a set of 5 spoke billet wheels that I shoud be recieving soon.

corvette body

Hi it's Lee. I would like to make some bodies to sell if I could get enough people to buy them. Let me know if you would like a body. My car is fiberglass but I would like to make them out of plastic to make it easier and cheaper. I have some things to finish on my car like the rear wing, pinstriping, windows, wheels, and a few more details. I will post better pictures next week. Thanks for the response it is encouraging ! Lee

Hello Lee, Man that is really nice being a former Pro Dragracer(Funny Car and Altered with alittle Top alcohol Rail) and seeing that makes me remember the good old Day's of my Youth LOL  Looks very cool, I'd be interested in one too. Let us know if possible what the cost would be and how long a wait it would be for one. Looks like you started something really GOOD!!!!.Keep up the great work!!

Corvette body

Post by leebaker »

OK guys here's what I'm going to do. I will pull my plug out and mold out and figure out what I need to do to start making them out of plastic and fiberglass. My car is a New Era protsock car. I need to know what wheelbase your cars are and figrue out what we need to do to have the bodies universal for other chassies. So Let me know what your wheel bases are so I can take measurements. I want to get the quarter scale cars going again. If this works out, I will make another body like a 68 Camaro. Thanks again Happy Holidays, Lee BAker

Hello Lee, Joe just informed me that you were at our track during the fall clasic in September, I wish we could have met. I am in the process of converting a new era chassis over to a prostock now.
I live in Niagara Falls and would like a glass body myself, is there any time we can meet up and I can look at your car in person?
Maybe we can do a bit of parking lot racing this summer with Joe and a few others.
Nice job, keep up the good work
